Google Earth to create presentations

Some time ago, I saw the prezi.com service, which allows (admittedly so far in closed beta) to make spectacular presentations . Today, in search of a simple tool for creating beautiful effects, it dawned on me. Google Earth!

It allows you to place your own images (PNG transparency is supported):

Image preparation is best done in vector graphics editors. After that, the image is loaded into Google Earth and the presentation structure is further configured.

We create the structure using tags.

Expose for each label the desired scale, slope, angle. You can also "play" with the transparency of various pictures, disable / enable layers.

As a result, we get a controlled presentation, with the ability to move between slides in any sequence with a smooth and spectacular animation.

Do not forget about the fact that you can quickly and easily create any three-dimensional models in Google SketchUp and then include them in the presentation and show them from different angles:
