On January 1, 2009, Beta testing of the “I-Star” project was launched , which is available on the Internet at www.ya-zvezda.com .

The project is unique, and therefore I would like to write vividly about it and give the most complete picture of all its possibilities. I think that it’s more efficient and interesting to do this in the image and on behalf of the user.

So, to me, as a creative person, after becoming acquainted with the portal, it immediately becomes clear that Ukraine’s first Internet community of creative people — artists — appeared in the post-Soviet space, which enables any of them to publish their own videos, music, images and photos, keep a diary and inform the community about events from their creative life, participate in contests and charts. I was automatically provided with a mailbox and a personal web site in the domain ya-zvezda.com or ya-artist.com.

My fans in the project can organize fan clubs and support me and their other idols with their actions: watch, listen, vote, comment and discuss creativity.

Since the project has powerful communication tools (Google Talk Internet pager, email, private messages), I have the opportunity to communicate with my friends and fans in real time, exchange voice, and even video messages.

Moreover, I have the opportunity to form my own rating - “star”, namely: to be popular, rated, discussed, new, loved, depending on the quantity and popularity of published content, as well as my own activity on the portal. Thus, the “I-Star” portal is intended to give impetus to the manifestation of the creative abilities of the Artists to achieve the ultimate goal - to BECOME A STAR!

In addition, as part of the “I-Star” project, videoconferences with well-known producers and modern pop stars (Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries) are planned - they have already agreed to participate in the project. All Artists can participate in contests, the winners will have the opportunity to take part in regular final concerts. Thus, with the help of professionals, the most talented Artists or creative groups will receive a unique opportunity to achieve success and popularity.

In short, the “I-Star” project opens up a non-standard way to search for gifted Artists, an alternative to numerous TV shows, to which not everyone can get.
