Today I want to make out examples of writing blocks with contact information. I do not pretend to be the ultimate truth, but I want to share different ideas. And how to apply them you can decide for yourself.

And so, the first thing you need to build on when creating a slide with contacts is the context. The context in which the reader (viewer) will see this slide.

The rule is simple, for example, imagine you are at a big conference, someone speaks, at the end there is a block for communication and there you see:

Of course, I exaggerate a little, but in general this is the case. Pile up a large amount of unnecessary information. Well, who, being at the conference, will remember it all? At best, what is the name

We start to simplify:

1. Patronymic - in my opinion it is an anachronism. Name and Surname is enough (now they pounce on me, but what about respect for age, etc. I think everyone decides for himself, I often met with age people in their practice who calmly communicate with you and by name)

2. Position - significantly cut, for example, to “Senior Director”. In each situation, its reduction, but I want to convey the logic.

3. Company name - remove. if the presentation design is done normally, then it should be clear who you are and where you are from (especially if the main slide is still clearly presented)

4. Address - I would remove it altogether. Well, the maximum city (or country if an international conference)

5. Phones, faxes - also controversial, would remove all. Through the site they will find everything they need) (if the site is of course made convenient :))

6. e-mail - first, remove the word e-mail, because it’s clear what ivanov.ivan.ivanovich@company.com is. Secondly, if you are so eager to leave the mail and often speak at all, then ask the admins to alias (forward) from the shortened address to full. For example, we do iii@company.com and close it to the main one.

7. www - kill the www prefix and it is also clear that this is a site!

8. Additional sources of information, I cited skype, here follow the rule, what is your audience? If it is convenient for them to communicate in this way, then it is possible to pay attention to this and give a contact.
