Psd - trick with file size
There is a psd file with N layers. Turn off the visibility of all layers:
We save. We get the file 20% less. That is, if there is 3.4Gb of this fucking file, then it will weigh approximately 2.6Gb in the end. The result on the face.
The only obvious disadvantage is that we lose the preview.
This is, of course, a rather old technique, but it still works (in CS3 and in CS4).

UPD: I'll explain a little bit: the trick is not for storing files (so that they don't take up space), but for emergency cases of emergency help, when there is not enough megabytes on the flash drive.
