The idea was born long ago. Supported several large projects that are constantly parsed. Finding an IP is not a problem, but understanding who it was by IP is more interesting, but more difficult. All my attempts to find the ip2domain service did not end with anything = (It seemed like a delusion to make my own service like this, ping 2 million domains ...
Times change, worldview changes. In the summer I worked on auto.ru, one of the tasks was to calculate such “parsers”, then the idea of pinging everyone around came up again and the thought “why not?” Was not allowed to sleep.
To get the base of all domains of the Runet is not a problem. With a com-net more difficult, I decided to score on him. The project specializes only in runet.
As far as writing the collector, it became clear that collecting only IP from domains is barbaric. But to collect all the info, even whois, requires a lot of time or machine costs. As a result, the collector collects and logs IP, NS recorded and MX records from the domain. In fact, there are 3 modes of the collector. In normal mode, he manages to go through all the domains in about half a day. In the mode "let's go faster, I want to write" manages to run 3 times a day. In the “foul-play mode!” The collector worked once. In 10 hours I managed to run all the domains 4 times, after which my IP was banned by the hoster =)))

At the moment, there is a small article on the project on hosters, parking and dating. It is rarely updated, but gives an overall picture. However, the most interesting is services. Presented 4 service.

The service shows the minimum information about the domain. In general, you can get it with the usual “host -a domain.ru”. There is nothing new there. Unless on the service defines a domain arrangement. Roughly speaking, you can punch on which hosting sites hang out.
ip info
That is, in fact, the idea of the project. All sites that are hanging on this IP are displayed.
