NVIDIA GT218 Graphics Card Specifications
The site VR-Zone has information about the technical characteristics of the new graphics accelerator NVIDIA, created on the basis of 40-nm chip GT218.
This video card with the code name D10M1-30 is built on the base of the printed circuit board with the index P692. The frequency of the used GT218 graphics processor is 550 MHz, and the frequency of the shader unit is 1375 MHz. Onboard the accelerator - 512 MB of DDR-3 memory with a nominal frequency of 800 MHz. The card is equipped with DVI and DisplayPort interfaces. The GT218 chip itself contains 32 universal stream processors, 8 texture sampling and filtering units, and supports all API DirectX 10 functions. Its TDP level does not exceed 22 W.
Judging by the scheme given in the VR-Zone, the D10M1-30 has a low-profile design. Most likely, the novelty will be designed for entry-level solutions. At the very least, introducing new technical processes, NVIDIA worked them out first on the devices of the lower price segment, so the 40-nanometer technical process will not be an exception.
