Ever since I entered the university, I was constantly thinking about how things had somehow become a lot, and it’s difficult to keep them all together in my head, so it's time to start planning. Many methods have been tried, starting with the diary and Outlook, ending with all kinds of sites. And most often, this or that tool did not suit for a number of reasons.
The main reasons are:
- Opportunity to keep things to yourself constantly
- The difficulty of adding cases (long forms, implicit priorities)
- Inability to view the entire array of cases for the near term
- Complex, overloaded interface
After all these trials and errors, I came to the conclusion that just tough tasks (with a clear deadline, for example, “Meet Tomorrow tomorrow at 12 o'clock”) are quite difficult to forget, but floating on the contrary is very easy.
And then I found a like-minded person =) We decided, as usual, to make a planner for ourselves, with blackjack ... in general, our own, devoid of the above disadvantages.

After studying a number of materials (including the work of Gleb Arkhangelsky), the following concept was taken as a basis: we keep all affairs in 3 areas: day, week, and chaos.
In general, all things are in chaos for the near future, then from there they get what they plan to do in the coming week and are transferred to the appropriate area. And so from the week we drag on the day.
Those. The scheme is as follows:
Fill chaos → Fill the week → Fill the day.
It is convenient to plan for tomorrow evening just looking at the week, nothing is forgotten, you can replenish the week at the weekend “fishing” in chaos.
In this case, the chaos can be added as soon as the task appears on the horizon.
Everyone liked the idea, a little web magic, and Planaria is born:
* better to look in HD on
vimeo , it can be seen at times better *
Although you can see everything with your own eyes on
Planaria itself.
Any criticism will be useful =)
