Toshiba
promises to make a "revolution in the market of mobile entertainment." She announced the TG01 smartphone, unique in its own way.
This is an extremely thin device (only 9.9 mm, much thinner than the iPhone 3G) with a huge 4.1 "touchscreen (800x480 pixels). The electronic filling is built around the new Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, whose processor runs at 1 GHz. According to the manufacturer, this makes their device the fastest smartphone in the world today (will the built-in Windows Mobile really fly on such hardware?).
Another “killer” feature is an advanced accelerometer (they call it “G-sensor”), which recognizes not only the rotation of the device, but even rotation around its axis. The device can be controlled via the “virtual trackball” on the screen, using the wiggle and rotation of the smartphone.
