Google launches software for tracking mobile users
According to Reuters , Google has developed and launched software that allows mobile device users to automatically report their whereabouts to a specific circle of people. The service is available in 27 countries, by the way, there is also in Russian - Google Latitude . Friends and relatives will be able to track the location of users of the service through Google Maps. According to Google, the software has advanced settings that allow users to respect their privacy. The software will run on Blackberry, possibly on devices running Symbian S60, Microsoft Corp's Windows Mobile, Google's Android. Future release plans for Apple iPhone The new service from Google is not unique, a similar solution from Loopt already exists and is being used by operators such as Verizon Wireless.
