The Russian section of Wikipedia has lost its only active bureaucrat (the participant issuing the administrator flag)
The Arbitration Committee (the body that serves to resolve conflicts) decided to remove the administrator’s flag and prohibited the bureaucrat’s authority (the member issuing the administrator’s authority, as well as the bot) from the only active bureaucrat in the Russian section, Thomas Oberzacks. The reason for this decision was the conflict around the usersboxes (text templates that are posted on the participant's page) of the participants expressing the political beliefs. Oberzacks deleted them by appealing to the EaP: ChNIAV (the main rule of Wikipedia, stands for What Is Not Wikipedia), which says that Wikipedia is not a tribune or a battlefield. Participants who filed a lawsuit with the Arbitration Committee against Thomas insisted that there was no consensus in the community about these patterns. It is worth noting that, until recently, Obersakse was the only active bureaucrat in the project, as well as the fact that before that several active administrators of the Russian section of Wikipedia voluntarily resigned.
