metacontacts.dll is a tool for MirandaIM users using multiple protocols simultaneously

Suddenly one of the Miranda users is not aware that there is a great MetaContacts plugin that allows you to combine various contacts (including various protocols) into one - there will be one in the contact list instead of several entries.

So if I used to have entries in the contact list:

Vasya (vpupkin@hotmail.com)

, now there is only one: Vasya - when you click on a contact, the window of the protocol selected by default opens (customizable), you can choose on the fly to which of the addresses to send a message. The message window is one - the entire history of correspondence is visible, regardless of which of the addresses the message was sent to.

This plugin is useful precisely in cases of using several protocols, but in my view of recent events, the contact list has spread a bit - many are switching to alternative ICQ solutions not immediately, but gradually.
