"AOL keeps its promises - lures everyone to Jabber" or "Good story about flowers"

Once again, AOL (the company that owns the ICQ service, to many narrow-minded people better known as QIP) changed the protocol through which this very QIP works. As a result, everyone began to complain that "the bale broke again."

Why once again? Because it is happening lately with some consistency. Why do they do that? Then, that AOL didn’t just buy ICQ from Mirabilis, don’t just spend money on new servers, supporting old ones, servicing communications, eliminating accidents and electricity. And all so that we can use this wonderful service. Of course. For this, they ask for nothing at all - a small piece of your screen in order to display adequate advertising on it (not herbalife!). And AOL is doing the ICQ program ...

But not everyone likes this program. In particular, it is inconvenient, braking and the main reason - there are no "Kolobok" emoticons. Oh, yes, there is still this advertisement unnecessary. And ICQ non-lovers decided to make QIP (and the more advanced comrades did Miranda, and already the professionals did fsICQpX2).

AOL was upset because no one wanted to use its original program, and was offended. Nobody wanted to thank her for the excellent service with a small piece of their screen, and AOL itself does not have much money to pay for new servers for ICQ ...

And AOL decided to make it so that only those who are not sorry for a piece of the screen could use it, while the rest used another great service - Jabber. And again everything became good and everyone was happy. And AOL is pleased, and users are happy, and the flower is green in the corner. Good.
