Chi.mp: Streaming + OpenID with a free second-level domain.
Now this service is in a closed beta, but, if you wish, you can get an invite very quickly. The main feature is that they give you a domain in the .mp zone absolutely free of charge (this is the zone for the Northern Mariana Islands) In addition to livestreaming and OpenID, there is also a social network factor here - you can create your own “business card”, add your contacts and distribute them into groups (friends / colleagues / relatives / public / anythingelse), for each of which you can set a different design, information about yourself and produce different content. See a “live” example here (their commun-manager)
Especially nice chips:
Ability to use Google Analytics
You can change the meta-description of pages and favicons
You can forward one email address (pleasant, in this case, the ability to forward)
The authors of the project support all sorts of open web standards (OpenID, MicroID, FOAF and vCard are already involved - let's hope that they will "turn on" and others slowly)
You can buy a domain at any time ($ 20 / year - reasonable price)
Unfortunately, at the moment enough and cons:
Cannot use custom html / css
There is no way to use google / yandex webmaster and similar things, because no way to pass verification (neither empty files, nor meta tags can be created)
Contact management is very weak (look, for example, on soocial - there everything is much better in this regard)
Login for the owner is only by password (and would not hurt by OpenID and client SSL certificates)
Lack of API
Three-letter domains do not give out (however, without them there is a lot of tasty)
