Sidekick lineup running ...
NetBSD . Such information appeared on the
forum of fans of devices of this line .
After
Microsoft had this company , it was logical to assume that the division would be engaged in releasing smartphones on the Windows Mobile platform, however, apparently, the new bosses decided not only to not interfere with the division, but also to help in developing the device. Looking for a little on the Internet you can find traces of what MS has recruited to the staff of specialists on NetBSD (
here and
here ).
Unfortunately, very little is known about the device itself, of the features it is a sliding qwerty keyboard, a large 854x480 screen, GPS, and of course the standard “internet-directionality”.

What is it, just MS decided not to destroy the previous developments and collectives, or after Apple tests the possibilities of the BSD world in the world of mobile devices, and maybe not only mobile, what the hell is not joking, time will tell.
