You have just witnessed how I violated the American DMCA law.
If Habrahabr and / or I were in the jurisdiction of the United States, the company AACS LA could seriously sue me. They could hardly have won, but ... the point is not that.
The fact is that this set of innocuous tsiferok is an AACS encryption key - one of the cryptographic keys used to encrypt HD-DVD and Blu-ray disc content. As you probably already guessed, using this key you can bypass the protection against copying these discs, which is illegal in the United States. The fact that not only copying, distribution and public display is considered illegal, but only the fact of circumventing protection is a serious, but a separate topic and I would not like to be distracted by it now.
I am far from being a lawyer, although I do not understand much in the laws, so I will be glad if lawyers correct me in the comments.

AACS LS declared this number to be a “copyright circumvention device,” effectively acquiring the exclusive right to use it.
In other words, the number was declared “out of law”.
And this does not fit in my head.
How can any number be called illegal?
Or even better - get exclusive rights to use it, that is, copy it! :)
What would happen to mathematics if I declared the number 13 (which I really like, by the way) to be my property?
What about banning the use of the number 666 for religious reasons?
In my opinion, this is not normal: to limit the freedom of using numbers to everyone, just to please the units.

And we know how information is stored and transmitted by a computer - in binary form, as ones and as zeros.
But wait ... in this case, it turns out that any program, any book, any song or any film in electronic form is just a very, very large number! Let this number in binary form have 6012954214400 bits (a regular CD, 700 megabytes), but this is just a number!
Catch what's the problem?
I can book a 700 megabyte number.
I can copy the number 09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0 ... well, I really can't, because the cunning guys have already copy it :)
But if I had similar financial and political resources, I could copy the number 09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C1 without any problems.
But at the same time, I cannot copy the number 13 ... and this makes me happy - it's a beautiful number, let everyone freely use :)
