The problem of optimizing the working space of your operating system can be solved in several ways, including buying a monitor with a larger diagonal, connecting a second monitor, reorganizing the space, all kinds of pop-up and auto-hidden menus, and of course removing unnecessary elements.
The
Start Killer program is assigned to the latter method, and, as you probably have done it, it removes the Start button, thereby freeing up a lot of space.
Naturally, the Start menu continues to function and to access it, just press the key with the Windows logo on the keyboard.
