At the Mobile World Congress exhibition in Spain, which will be held in February 2009, Skype will present new versions of its VoIP-software for mobile phones.
There is no exact information yet, but company representatives said that applications for various mobile OSes will be presented. In addition, Skype announces partnership agreements with leading phone manufacturers.
Most likely, Skype will introduce a new software for Apple iPhone, BlackBerry Storm, Symbian OS, Android and Windows Mobile 6.5, as well as for any phones that can work with Java applications. Perhaps Skype will be available for the new Palm platform, but this has not yet been officially reported.
