Western Digital has created a hard drive with a record capacity of 2 TB
Western Digital has set a new record for hard disk capacity: according to network sources, the company managed to create a hard drive that can hold up to two terabytes of information.
The new drive is called Caviar Green WD20EADS . The hard disk is made in the form factor of 3.5 inches and has a spindle speed of 7,200 revolutions per minute. The buffer capacity is 32 MB, the connection to the computer is via the Serial ATA II interface.
