Hedgehog in the fog

The monument to the main character of the popular Soviet cartoon “Hedgehog in the Fog” is set in the center of Kiev, Ukrainian agency UNIAN reports on Tuesday.

The hedgehog is depicted sitting with a bundle on a high stump. The sculpture is made of wood and installed at the intersection of Zolotovorotskaya, Reitarskaya streets and Georgiyevsky Lane.

The cartoon by Yuri Norstein, released by Soyuzmultfilm in 1975 and telling about the journey of the hedgehog in the fog, became classics of world animation.
