Yahoo has released an innovative RSS feed processing system by passing them through fire, water and copper “pipes”. You do not just subscribe to RSS and break them into directories or assign tags, as in conventional aggregators. You build chains of them using a filtering system similar to UNIX pipes. The graphical interface is very convenient and allows you to visualize the whole process (image from LifeHacker ): I think that the system will appeal to many fans of RSS-subscriptions, who are tired of the monotonous and unproductive content classification. Now you can mix feeds and greatly simplify their viewing.
