According to the developer, charging for the use of Wi-Fi-access in public places is illegal (from the point of view of universal laws). The system, called WiFi Liberator (which means liberator), will fix the mentioned injustice and “free” access to a paid Wi-Fi network at airports, hotels and restaurants or an Internet cafe by turning any standard laptop into an open node of this network.
The application can work in client or proxy mode. At the same time, thanks to the original design of the system, the user will not be able to access the network without “sharing” it with others. Of course, the necessary software is provided completely free of charge, according to www.engadget.com .
