The first mention of the
Inforotor appeared in the press on October 30, 2008, but we decided to
share the Habrakhabr community personally. That is exactly what I want to dedicate to our first post.
What is Inforotor?
Inforotor is a complex of interconnected and complementary services for readers and employees of Internet media, as well as their advertisers.
We achieved high results in the creation of automatic text processing technologies, improved our experience in their linguistic and semantic analysis.
It allowed:
- give the media the opportunity to participate in fair
ratings , reflecting the various qualitative and quantitative characteristics of their audience and content, and bring the assessment of media performance to a new level;
- assist advertisers and Internet media customers in choosing sites for an informational or advertising campaign, and subsequent analysis of their effectiveness.
- provide news aggregator to news readers, and mass media - news
exchange network with minimal presence of “yellowness” and maximum content personification, where messages are focused on users' news interests, which will give the sites a good audience, and the audience - really interesting content.
Work on the project has been going on for more than two years, and it seems to us that the task of “collecting the best and necessary for Internet media users in one place” is close to realization, although there is still a lot to be done.
We also made for the Internet media a special
statistical system that measures not only attendance :-)

It is about the progress in work on interesting, from our point of view, tasks and I would like to write and argue here: we hope publications about new technologies in the field of advertising, statistical systems, behavioral targeting and all sorts of interesting media research and their audience will be interesting to the Habrahabr community.
