Kharkiv First Coworking Office

UPD: Anyone who is not yet in the know, and is looking for information about X1: co-working-experiment ended at the end of 2010, we no longer offer places in coworking center or any other services related to coworking. But we have left and are actively developing the direction of outstaffing, so if you are a talented developer, tester or IT specialist of a different profile in active / passive search for interesting projects - write to us.



Immediately to the point: soon the first coworking office will start in the very center of Kharkov, and soon - this is the very near future.

Dates, plans


A test launch is planned in 2-3 weeks, this is when the entire infrastructure is ready, the places are equipped, tea and cookies are purchased and it will be possible to work fully, but the first group of test pilots will start the office, which will be only 4-6 freelancers - mostly friends, acquaintances and spesheli invites.



This was invented in order to debug some processes and solve organizational problems during the course of work, because theory is a theory, but practice best shows what is lacking for comfortable work and communication among co-workers. In general, classic testing and bugfixing :)



The test period will not last long and by the end of February - the beginning of March, we are planning an official opening for a wider circle of coworkers.



Location, transportation


The office is located in the very center of Kharkov, near Sovetskaya metro stations and the Historical Museum (7-10 min walk), at ul. Cooperative 22

The entrance to the office and all the windows overlook the courtyard, the entrance to the courtyard through the archway, so that relatively busy traffic along the street does not create noise in the office and does not interfere with work.



Space


The total area of ​​the office is 92m2, it is divided into 4 functional rooms, a corridor and a WC.

The plan for the organization of rooms is:

- Work room with one long table (6-8 people)

- Workroom with several smaller tables (6-7 people)

- meeting room

- Lounge: sofa, armchairs, coffee table, board games ... + mini-kitchenette: kettle, tea, coffee, cookies, candy, microwave.

The office has two input Internet channels: optics (Sloboda) and ADSL (Ukrtelecom). Moreover, the optical cable is held straight from the server Sloboda, which is located in the same building (200m). Both channels will be available simultaneously, both via WiFi and Ethernet.



Food


Relatively far from the office (7-10 minutes on foot) you can find quite a lot of different cafes and restaurants, among others:

What else will be?


We start with the provision of comfortable Internet-based jobs, and we will develop according to the demand of our coworkers. There are thoughts and ideas on the organization of legal and financial advice, conducting various trainings and workshops, assistance in finding and accompanying clients / orders, etc. But all this and everything else will be determined primarily by the necessity, interest and initiative of the co-workers.
