iPhone as a WiFi joystick

Not so long ago, I came across an interesting program that allows you to use the iPhone accelerometer as a standard joystick.



The program, in fact, consists of two two parts.
This application is from the AppStore, and, in fact, the driver for the computer. The connection goes via WiFi.

One of the interesting features of ZooZControl is the automatic change of virtual buttons on the screen, and depending on the running game. Light version supports two sets, paid ($ 1.99) - unlimited.

Download ZooZControlHost and install. The program will require confirmation when installing drivers.

Then download ZooZ Control Lite (well, or Pro, who does not mind :)) from the AppStore.



Now run the application:



Run ZooZControlHost on the computer, click on Connect, and enter the IP, which is written on the iPhone at the top of the application. If the Wi-Fi works for you, the message Connected to [address] will appear



Now go to Control Panel -> Game Devices, the list should be ZooZ Conrol Joystick. Click Properties, and try to twist the iPhone in the air and press the buttons.

Then the device will need to be calibrated (Settings tab), and enjoy the new original input device :)
