Microsoft transferred source codes for the Stonehenge project

Six months after joining the Apache Foundation, Microsoft first took an active part in the Stonehenge project by opening fragments of its source code.

The Stonehenge project was created in November 2008 to accumulate a single database of examples of open-source cross-platform SOA applications that can be used by everyone. The founders of the project are Apache, Red Hat and WSO2.

Microsoft gave the Stonehenge project code to the StockTrader 2.0 program as an example of implementing the principles of service-oriented architecture (SOA) in the programming languages Java, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, .Net / C #.
