Google squeezes money from YouTube

In addition to the closure of non-core projects , during the crisis, Google is trying to get the maximum profit from the rest. A new initiative in this area is the expansion of the partner program on YouTube , which allows one click to go to the store site (iTunes or Amazon), where the goods shown in the video are sold.

The YouTube eCommerce Affiliate Program was launched in the fall, but only for the United States and the United Kingdom. Now its actions are extended to users from Germany, Spain and the Netherlands.

In addition, affiliate links are now made more visible and placed directly on the video frame area (via a pop-up transparent menu).
