Note: In November, during the scheduled verification of Opera Mini statistics, we discovered technical problems associated with counting unique users. The problem was solved before the data for December appeared. All data until October 2008 are approximate. We will update the charts as soon as we correct the data. This has affected the information on unique users, however, data on the level of growth, page views and traffic are reliable. Indeed, the number of pages viewed per user per month increased by almost 360.

As with the wired and mobile Internet, Orkut is the most popular network in India and Brazil, while Nasza-klasa is the most popular in Poland. This once again reinforces Opera’s belief that there is only a single Internet that is accessible from various devices.
Quotes“Social networks are helping to support the development of a unified Internet,” said Jon von Tetchner, CEO of Opera Software, “despite the current economic conditions, we expect a further increase in the use of the Internet from mobile devices. More and more people want to have access to the Internet at a global level. With great potential in both developed and developing countries, we expect to see more people surfing the Internet using a mobile phone or any other device. ”
