BeepTower.com - to share interesting things with friends

A simple service to send interesting links and messages to friends.
Did for myself, maybe someone else will come in handy.

How does it work?
We go to the page, select the title, click bookmarklet. In the window that opens, you can choose who exactly to send (by default, everyone) and add something from yourself.

Once a day, the script runs through the list and sends everyone 1 email with all messages per day (recipients can turn off sending letters and activate posting to the rss feed, but this is for advanced users, I haven’t even heard many rss friends :).

Why?
There was a problem - I have three dozen friends with whom I want to share interesting links. They use different IM (ICQ, Jabber), they are in different social networks.

It is not convenient to send a link to each one individually, and receiving 5 letters a day is not very fun. It can also be very distracting.



It’s convenient to send messages with Beep Tower , and 1 email per day is perfectly acceptable (self-PR :).

I almost forgot - friends do not need to register, just add them to your contacts by email (up to 100 recipients). At any time they can refuse to receive messages.

What else can?
Service is simple, so features to a minimum. You can watch who clicked what link.

What is coming up?
Soon it will be possible to leave comments to messages to messages.

PS: If someone wants to try himself as a recipient, leave a soap or send it to mine (maxim@deast.info). I do not promise a lot of interesting things, but sometimes unusual links come across.

PPS: The service is in English, as I did for myself, and some of the friends are English-speaking (although the language is at the level of 3 classes). Someday I can add Russian localization.
