Asus A6R and Ubuntu 8.10

Greetings to all the community. I ask for help in solving the problem with Ubuntu 8.10 and my Asus A6R series laptop with Analog Devices AD1986 @ ATI SB450 - AC'97 Audio Controller. I put all the drivers from the ALSA project, but there was no sound as it was. Unscrew all the regulators to the maximum, did not help. When the headphones inserted, the sound was similar to the improved morse code. What to do?
