“If you are young and full of energy ...” This is how patriotic posters appealing to us to protect the borders of the Motherland as part of the armed forces, or, at worst, customs. But, fortunately, it is not only there that energetic and capable young people are needed. HP, as a very large and dynamic company, always needs talent. To attract them, we launched the Graduate Development Program (GDP) Graduate Development Program. It operates worldwide, including in Russia. Andrei from St. Petersburg
asked for more details about her, and I asked Boris Yastrebov, who leads GDP in all countries of Central and Eastern Europe, to help us with this.

Program description can be read
here . In short: this is an 18-month program that gives graduates the opportunity to plunge into the business processes of a large corporation. Under the supervision of HP experts, they will carry out several of their own projects and will take part in the company's global activities, acquiring a lot of skills during this time. Of course, we hope that at the end of GDP, young people will want to apply their new knowledge with us.
According to the program, the company opens vacancies of a
technical consultant ,
a support service engineer , IT
business analyst ,
a marketing analyst and
a sales specialist . To participate are invited to the last year students and graduates in specialized specialties. Of course, one of the most important requirements for us is knowledge of the English language.

Boris says that the program was initially opened in Moscow, in the largest HP office in Russia, but already in 2007 it stepped outside the capital (to St. Petersburg, Samara and Yekaterinburg). This year positions are also planned with participation in the program for young specialists in Kazan and other cities. Learn about their appearance on our global website:
hp.com/go/jobs .
In addition, in St. Petersburg (Kolpino) there is already a vacancy planner for a young specialist, but she does not assume participation in GDP. All current positions, as a rule, are also published on the sites graduate.ru and hh.ru.
Jobs at HP Laboratories for young scientists and graduate students (one of HP’s laboratories is located in St. Petersburg) are published on the HP Labs special site
