WordPress. Unique home page or what to do with home?
A small manual designed for the initial level of working with WordPress
Few people use the home.php file in their themes for good reason. This file gives us the right to construct a main page that is different in appearance from the rest, for example, to display several entries from each existing category in the form in which we need.
We do not need any additional plug-ins, except that we integrate such a thing to the main page www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/featuredcontentslider.htm (scrolling records).
Also, this interesting thing is useful to us, allowing you to switch the output content by category: www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/tabcontent.htm .
Notes: on pages with js take files with classes and copy to your style.css
