Great and mighty language. Is it limitless?

I noticed that with the advent of the Internet to the masses, many companies began to call their products simply a set or a combination of letters not bearing any semantic load. For the most part I observe this in the names of mobile phone models. For example: Omnia, Xperia, etc. Is this trend based on a guarantee that there is no competition with other words in search engine results or just a desire to stand out? And, for example, in 20 or 200 years will we be able to find or invent more and more new words that will not cut off our ears and will not be familiar to search engines?
