The release of
KDE 4.1.4 has been released in which the accumulated errors have been fixed. Especially a lot of bugs fixed in KMail, including the elimination of about a dozen causes of crashes and several problems leading to the loss of letters.
KDE 4.1.4 - the latest release of the KDE 4.1 series, KDE 4.2.0 release will be released on January 27, and KDE 4.3 will be released for the summer.
Binary packages with KDE 4.1.4 are currently available only for the Linux
Kubuntu distribution. In the near future, packages will be compiled for
openSUSE , Debian (unstable), Fedora and Mandriva, and a special
LiveCD will be prepared for a visual assessment.
