Will Obama have a new smartphone: the NSA model?

In a recent interview, Barack Obama dropped an interesting phrase. He said: "I still use my Blackberry, but they want to take it from me ." No explanations followed. Everyone knows that Obama’s dependence on email and the loss of his beloved PDA will cost him dearly. But, apparently, this is a necessary requirement of the American special services. They can be understood, because Blackberry, like any other civilian PDA, is absolutely not protected from a wide variety of types of attacks. Hacking the presidential CCP would be a fatal blow to the image of American counterintelligence.

Presumably, it is the security services that are going to take away from the president his favorite gadget. What will they give him in return? Obviously, he will receive one of the smartphones officially certified by NSA specialists. For example, the General Dynamics Sectera Edge model shown in the illustration. This is a specially modified version of the Palm Treo 750.



Of course, Obama will have to terminate the contract with his mobile operator Verizon Wireless. Special services use special ciphers and base stations of different telecom operators, without being tied to any particular of them.
