Employees of ChannelInsider and eWeek have compiled a list of high-tech companies that, according to some people, will go bankrupt, be bought or simply forgotten during 2009. The most interesting point in all these “bare predictions” is that they were not composed of journalists and portal editors, but employees of large IT companies, mainly representatives of software and hardware sales (who not only install, but also support technical ).
The list, however, is not so far from the truth, as some would have liked. And if with the decline of such giants as AMD, Citrix and SUN I will argue before losing consciousness, then Symantec and CA look much more attractive acquisitions. Although readers' forecast rarely shows the probability of selling a company above the 20% level - an analysis of each company reveals a layer of slightly more information that can be used by the board of major giants (like Microsoft) during the next drop in the value of someone’s shares.
