There are a large number of seminars on the Internet that are being done “for everyone”, i.e. the target audience is eroded as much as possible to ensure sales, from which quality suffers. Interesting content for the courses is not enough and it costs a lot of money. Although many of us have quite extensive knowledge, which I would love to share what activity in technical forums shows. At the same time, most of those who would like to teach others do not have the opportunity to do it personally, but would be able to cope with this remotely (the same forums are an indicator).
The project "
Your New Skill " is designed to provide a distance learning environment for non-professional teachers.
This is not a new social sphere. It is rather an open learning environment. Everyone can become a teacher and begin to transfer knowledge to others. At the same time, the main job of a teacher is not to “fight the distance learning system”, it is not necessary to study it, the project administrator decides technical questions, but actually helps students learn to write a course, then answer questions remotely and help if a problem has occurred. All accounting issues are resolved at the project level, teachers simply receive their remuneration.

For students, basic training is free, i.e. You can read the training materials, and if you really want to learn, so that the teacher points out errors, then a system of low-cost subscriptions is supposed, with deductions for the teacher (there is no incentive to teach absolutely free). Based on the fact that teachers are little-known people, buying a course from Vasi Pupkin, if you don’t see what he is, is risky. This is one of the differences from most distance courses. If you just want to read something for free, if you want to learn, then for a small fee.
The system itself does not represent any know-how. Know-how is the subject of trainings. No one knows if a particular training will be popular. This project will allow testing the training, getting feedback and, for example, further expanding the training to a book (training can be written much faster than writing a book) or creating a more detailed on-site course. It will also allow you to find new authors who want to get fame thanks to the project (and even get a fee).
And I think that the project will be of interest to program developers who are just entering the market. They love to study with us for free, and if a person knows how to work with a specific product, then this will be an additional incentive to purchase. Such a low-budget advertising.
What is now?
Installed engine for learning. Added first trainings. So far there are only three of them:
The system is ready for running in, the authors of the trainings are invited, and of course, the listeners too :)
