Is it easy to be young?

Good day.

Everyone talks and writes a lot about the crisis and I am interested in the consequences of the crisis, and how it will affect the young employees of the companies. Every day there are fewer and fewer orders, and as a result, fewer workers are needed to complete the order. When I started working, I wouldn’t say that there was a lot of work, but it always was and I could learn from specific examples, communicate with the customer, be responsible for my work and try to turn everything in on time. And the experience of such work is accumulated. Would it not be such that young specialists will not be able to feel all this and will reinforce their knowledge by learning from some ready-made solutions and be aware of the work only in the words of those who have worked before. I live in Tolyatti and we had a reduction in staff at VAZ, under which a lot of young specialists fell. The authorities of VAZ motivated their actions with the words: “How can I dismiss Artyom Igorevich (the name is fictitious), because he developed Niva 30 years ago and everyone still drives her! So now he will develop a model in which everyone will drive !!! ”and so on ... And so it happens in many areas and now they rely on proven workers, and young people (sometimes of a higher professional level) are asked to wait and gain experience. Would it not be so that in the aftermath of the crisis there will be a shortage of qualified young professionals?
