InTV.ru: painless video viewing

The InTV.ru project is very interesting because it offers on-line viewing of movies and video clips. The material base is quite extensive, especially attracted by the presence of popular now American TV shows (Dexter, House MD, One Tree Hill, Californication, etc.). Thus, without actually downloading gigabytes of information to a computer from torrent-networks, you can open a web browser and watch the episode of your favorite movie before going to bed. Naturally, the site uses flash-player. Users can find for themselves two significant inconveniences:

The first is manifested as a sudden display of a short commercial during the viewing. Of course, there is no analysis to select the right moment for a commercial break, and such cases are sometimes very unpleasant when viewing action and horror.
The second drawback is that the user periodically needs to show signs of activity (moving the mouse cursor or pressing the key) so that the system does not go into power saving mode (screen saver, idle / sleep). Both factors can be excluded if you watch the video with a regular video player. It is known that the data broadcast by the flash-player of the site is pre-buffered on the client machine. Consequently, it all comes down to opening the working directory where the browser places temporary files and opening the flash movie (flv format) with a regular player. In this case, the streaming video will play correctly as it is downloaded. The main thing is to remember to lower the volume to the minimum level, or to put the viewing on the site into pause mode so that the sounds do not overlap. Such an approach will make viewing enjoyable and comfortable: without advertising inserts and the need to perform any activity to prevent the system from falling asleep.

I use Linux and Firefox. Flash players on websites caching streaming media data in the / tmp folder into a Flash * view file, which will open without stuttering with the same Totem, Mplayer or VLC.

PS Question to readers: where, by default, Safari saves the stream in MacOS X? If you know similar, rich video materials, resources, please share the addresses of the latter.
