From time to time I keep track of new tariffs for hosting, Internet service providers, and mobile communications. It seems that quite recently it was like this: technologies are developing, the mass is growing and prices are falling. Therefore, in order to pay less, it was necessary to change the tariff to a new one as early as possible.
But last year the trend has changed, and outdated tariffs (which are not currently offered to new customers) in 3 of my cases turn out to be the most profitable - prices are rising, and the offered services do not change qualitatively.
So, for example, Stream no longer offers the tariff of Internet access at a speed of 1 Mbit / s, now only starting from 2.5 Mbit / s. Accordingly, for my mother-in-law, for which 1 Mbit is sufficient and the main criterion for the price, the proposed tariff line turns out to be less profitable.
