While working on the second version of the
Typographer, I increasingly come to the opinion that I am doing
something wrong. I tried to understand the reason and understood that for myself. I deviated from the main idea of creating a typographer - help in the study of typography and layout. Today’s project doesn’t help to study the issue further, it only breeds illiteracy even more.
And rightly so, why think about how to put dashes or quotes, why delve into the problems of inseparable structures, why read and memorize mountains of books? It is enough to enter the text and press the button "Type" - happiness has happened!
In the penultimate version, I focused on checking and correcting the missing commas and hyphens, and I can’t hide it, I was ready to continue the development of these rules. But here again the question arises before the eyes: “Why?”
I "hung" in thought. There are two ways by which you can go in the further development of the Typographer:
- Remove all rules automatically placing commas and hyphens, corrective text, eliminating typing errors. Put them under the “Spell” button and highlight them in the right places as an error.
- Leave everything as it is and further develop the functional potential = to produce illiteracy.
Who thinks about this?

PS In the second version, which will be released before the end of January, there will be about 30 changes. The new version was supposed to be released in early January, but an unforeseen operation ruined all the plans and took away the extra two weeks. Now the “Fighter” is back in the ranks, and, as before, it did not give up! :)
