We present you the
online store of computer equipment Starcom . The idea of the project does not pretend to be new, and the authors are aware of the existence of another couple of thousands of online stores.
"Online shop again?"
This is an attempt to make an online store a convenient interface for selecting and ordering goods, and not a dazzling price tag and portal. The goal - the most "clean", simple and convenient site.

Before starting work on the interface, we studied many other online stores. We singled out their information load as a flaw that we tried to avoid ourselves. Informational messages, newsletters, advertising texts - all this distracts the client from the main goal - to buy the necessary goods and place an order in the shortest possible time. Did we go the right way? Or do we not understand something that the leading players in this market understand?
And now the points that we added / removed from the portrait of an average online store:

The site has no sections "About the store", "Our customers". No welcome texts, customer photos with orders in hand. According to the author of the topic, the reputation does not make money and all texts like “we have been working since 1875 and we have thousands of happy customers” do not carry any meaning and are ignored by visitors. We tried to do with those sections of the site that are really needed, guided by the principle opposite to the well-known “what else can you put in the menu”.
2. There are no comments to the goods, the forum is also missing. Users
have no way to communicate with each other. Why? At the forum of any company there are always dissatisfied: “what are the prices?”, “I will sue you”. The authenticity of positive reviews is always in doubt.
Nevertheless, customers can always get advice on the choice of goods from the staff of an online store by asking their question directly on the site (for using the ticket registration system is not required).

Registration is completely voluntary , the advantage of registered users is only that they have some additional conveniences when using the site (auto-completion of order fields, order history, bookmarks, correspondence with managers is maintained). By the way, it is not required to confirm the e-mail, and there is no captcha either.

On the site there are no banners, banners , as well as any animation. All this distracts the client from the main goal, and why advertise himself if a potential client has already visited the site? Most likely, he wants to buy something, and he only needs to help find or pick up a product. It is unlikely that the person who was going to buy a tripod, suddenly buy a monitor, even if it is sold at a super low price.
Thus, the main idea of the site is as follows: everything is simple, convenient and serves the same purpose - to help a potential client to become kinetic with the least cost to him.
The publication of this text does not pursue advertising purposes, since the online store currently operates within Krasnoyarsk.
