E-commerce and UkrPoshta

Any electronic entrepreneur who sells real goods sooner or later faces the need to send parcels in cash on delivery through the Ukrainian State Postal Service Company UkrPoshta (it’s not without reason that the letters start the reduction at the beginning of the reduction).

In order to send and receive money for cash on delivery, you can go in two ways - send as an individual (or SPD) in the room for individuals or enter into an agreement with UkrPochta.
I did not risk risking the second method, especially after reading this comment .

I want to tell a little about the difficulties that will arise before you when sending parcels without a contract.

So problem # 1 is the queue. Get ready for the fact that in the post office you can spend a few hours in the queue, quarreling with the old ladies who “occupied you at five in the evening yesterday, but you didn’t stand here at all”.

Problem # 2 - accounts receivable. UkrPoshta transfers money, somewhere on the 10th day after receipt of the goods by the customer , that is, the delay of payment ranges from two weeks to two months.

Problem # 3 - consumer refusal to send. It happens for various reasons - there was no money at that time to pay or the mail brought a notification a month later and charged 40 hryvnias for storage or did not bring a notification at all. It also happens that the package that went to Kerch comes back from Dnepropetrovsk.

From problem # 3 - problem # 4 smoothly emerges - lack of tracking. More precisely, nominally he is. It is located on the UkrPoshta website at this address . But the information in 60% of cases is not true. For example, this parcel was returned to the sender (that is, to me), but this one was handed to the consumer.

Problem # 5 is receiving money from UkrPoshta. UkrPoshta transfers money with a single payment statement - “payment of postal money transfers”. In addition, it sometimes sticks two or more parcels in one payment. When there are few shipments, it is not difficult to make out what's what. But if you send at least 50 parcels per month - this causes certain inconveniences.

And the main problem is that UkrPoshta is a state monopoly, which is privately owned by the drum, with its e-commerce and distance selling problems. Unfortunately, there is no Ukraine, and so far no normal alternatives are expected. There are courier services, but they often do not accept money for parcels and do not deliver them to remote villages.
