Sony Cybershot G3: the first camera with a browser

It seems that cameras and handheld computers still merge into a single format. At least, soon we will not be able to accurately classify the device: either it is a smartphone with a built-in 10-megapixel camera, or a 10-megapixel camera with a built-in operating system, a huge LCD screen and a touchscreen.

Proof of this is a rather exotic Sony Cybershot G3 camera with a 3.5-inch touchscreen. It connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi and can work with popular web services Picasa, Photobucket, YouTube, etc.

True, the browser in the camera is not quite full. There is no line for entering the URL, it only loads the page of Sony's Easy Upload Home Page, through which it gets access to several selected services.

But the camera has 4 GB of internal memory. So this is a full-fledged multimedia photo and video combine where you can store thousands of videos downloaded from the Internet.
