Have you been tested for viruses / adware / spyware for a long time?
In the process of calculating these statistics on Habra found that at least 950 habra people (~ 2.5% of all reading Habr, if we assume that the distribution is uniform) in the system lives an Adware pest called AdCentriaIM . It leaves a mark on the user-agent of the browser, which made it possible to detect it. A full description, and how to get rid of it is written - here . The overwhelming majority of ill people are Windows / Firefox.

I don’t know if I’m doing the right thing by writing this topic, but I just can’t somehow sit back, how else can I bring it to people?
