Parter and Kontramarka change investor

Two ticket agencies, Parter and Kontramarka , have recently become the property of the German holding company CTS Eventim . This holding bought a 51% stake in Spectator LLC (owns the Parter and Kontramark trademarks) for the non-disclosed amount from the Swiss investment company InterGlobal Consulting. Reports about it "Kommersant" .

CTS Eventim received an option to repurchase the remaining 49% of the Spectator’s shares within six months, according to a deal completed on December 12. It is expected that this year the acquired company will receive about $ 25 million of total turnover. Its experts themselves estimate $ 20 million. Recall, the “Spectator” sells tickets through the sites www.parter.ru and www.kontramarka.ru and its ticket offices.

According to experts, there are now favorable conditions in the Russian market for the arrival of international ticketing agencies (CTS Eventim, for example, one of the European leaders among sellers of tickets for entertainment events). At the same time, the market will expand at the expense of the regions where the Moscow dynamics of recent years will repeat.

This trend is dictated by both the growth of the domestic entertainment industry and the consumer shopping habits that are gradually taking shape in the consumer, due to the proliferation of the Internet. “The Internet will grow primarily by the regions,” says Afisha Digital executive director Dmitry Stepanov, “in Moscow, 50% of the active population uses the Internet at least once a month, and in the regions this figure is 19-20%.”

In the very Spectator LLC they also say that regional expansion is in the company's plans. “Now we are interested in a strategic investor,” says Marina Lensu, general director of LLC. “This will give us not only additional funding, but also proven technologies that will allow us to dynamically develop in the regions.”
