BestPersons.ru - on the eve of the New Year

At the very end of 2008, the team of the first Russian-speaking social aggregator BestPersons.ru launched an updated version. Although it took a long time, but our guys managed to bring a lot of useful and convenient innovations.

This year for the service was very intense. There were ups and downs. And where without them? :) Finally, we with our friends from Kakadu Collaps ( kkdc.ru ) prepared a video about testing the updated BestPersons. Thanks to them and the guys who took part in the shooting!

We have worked on the design of the site and its functional component.
The unique function of the site - crossposting - has become more convenient. Now you can write to several blogs at once. And for some services, and in the community.
We have paid special attention to the message feed of friends. Now the same posts on different blogging services are glued into one. Those who came across three to five crossposts in a row have already appreciated this innovation.
And also, we have prepared something new: the “Interests” section, which saves your time by allowing you to view all messages in the BestPersons database containing references to keywords that are interesting for you in a single feed.

Also, the possibilities for filtering the tape itself have been significantly expanded. Now friends can be combined into convenient groups - this allows you to read exactly what you are interested in at the moment, cutting off the superfluous. Still, of course, you can hide in your tape any post, blog or author entirely.

Finding friends has become much easier, you can search by nickname on any service, e-mail, icq, website address and other parameters. You can simply import your friends from Livejournal and Google Social Graph. Or even easier: look for friends in the address book of your mailboxes.
