Windows programs on iPhone, soon

image
Citrix , long and confidently existing in the software market, asked one simple question on its blog : “What a cool app doesn't work on the iPhone ... until now?”. The answer, however, is given right there.

It is likely that soon such an application may not be found at all in Windows. The reason for this is the Citrix Receiver project, which is developed by the company. The essence of the work is simple - a remote connection to a PC and the almost complete illusion of launching Windows on the iPhone, including the possibility of copy-track.

And compote? Citrix Receiver, according to one of the developers, will be able to not only run and work under a remote desktop and save-peysti. The following features are promised: the normal functioning of websites with a flash, medical applications, programs requiring IE as a browser (it’s not clear why). Naturally, it is not necessary to connect a smartphone to a computer for this — Receiver will also work via the network (wireless as well).

And let this not the first application that remotely controls the desktop, but Citrix is the second large company after Microsoft, which entered the iPhone market. It remains to hope that all this will make us happier, and not vice versa.

If the list of functions seems to be insufficiently complete, Citrix developers offer any reader to add those features that in his opinion could really open their eyes to a bright future.
