Design collector is back

After the update that began in June (the last message before closing dates from 06/16/2006), an excellent resource for designers returned to work. There are regular links to sites with interesting designs, sites of design studios or personal sites of designers / illustrators.

A pleasant feature of the resource is that the geography of published materials is not limited to only English-speaking countries - here you can always get an idea of the design from the point of view of Estonians or, say, Japanese. The design of the site and the presentation of information has changed for the better, in accordance with current trends on the web. Now everyone can filter information by tag or country.

Below is the official information from the main page of the site:
DesignCollector 2.0 is considered open.
')
First of all I want to thank the readers for their patience. You really are great, because during this protracted restoration I received from you a lot of letters and postcards with the questions "When?", I have not yet met the best motivation.

And now to the point, while the site was closed, we allowed ourselves to write the latest reviews and news “in hindsight”. Enjoy :)
What disappeared and added?

* The link catalog and categories disappeared irrevocably, and the “tag clouds” and tags that changed them in the reviews allowed for more flexible restructuring of the content.
* The long-promised filtering of reviews by countries of origin was added, but we must pay tribute to the Internet for the purposeful erasure of borders between states. Therefore, we will consider this a convenient feature.
* Defined a clear section format Newscollector - news and events from the design world
* And the most pleasant thing is the section Website Awards and the author’s collection of selected sites.

But, and most importantly, we are again open to finding talents in the vast expanses of the network.

ps For those who have previously monitored the activity of the resource - the new content is on the first three pages.
