Hardcore gamers will save the global IT industry

These guys do not care if there is a crisis in the yard or not. They are waiting as before for the release of a new model of video card, on which the last Call of Duty or Gears of War 2 will not slow down, and will buy it for any money.

Hardcore gamers spend thousands of dollars a year buying games and gaming hardware, providing up to 50% of the turnover of some IT companies. These are usually young men under the age of 30, they may have different education and work - schoolchildren, graduate students, students, top managers. But in any case, as long as there is money, they will spend on games with a 100% guarantee and absolute loyalty. It is a reliable stability base for many development firms, retailers, and iron producers. Only in November, the Americans spent almost $ 3 billion on games and consoles. About half of this turnover was provided by gaming fans.

According to experts, thanks to the army of hardcore gamers, the global IT industry will remain afloat anyway, even if all other customers disappear.
