Ground Zero connects your address and a nuclear explosion

Ground zero Nuclear weapons are often measured in kilotons, but this clearly does not indicate its destructive power.



The new Google Maps Mesh, called Ground Zero, allows you to see the radius of destruction caused by a nuclear explosion at the address you provided. In the screenshot to the left, we see what the Tsar Bomb would do if it hit the Kremlin.



Visualization tool courtesy of the Australian company Carlos Labs. It seems that they use the same (or similar) data as the Federation of American Scientists (FAS). FAS writes that most of the buildings within the inner circle will be "completely destroyed." In the next round, the area will be filled with fire, and the outer regions will suffer serious damage from the blast wave.
